The Location

The Beach Pads are situated on Porthkidney Beach in the village of Lelant in the Parish of St.  Ives in West Cornwall.

 
The location is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), a World Heritage Site (WHS), a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), and the most southerly natural Estuary and RSPB reserve in the UK.
 
In 2024 The Times and Sunday Times awarded the location “The Best UK Beach “
