The Best Beach in the UK!

And the winner is……….We love this photo of Porthkidney Sands Beach which is the back drop for The Times and Sunday Times Best UK Beach 2024 Awards. We have always known how special the location is but we are biased. It’s therefore wonderful to see it being acknowledged amongst such an esteemed number of other wonderful UK beaches!

Being nestled between the busier beaches of Hayle Towans and Carbis Bay, Porthkidney with it’s huge expanse of sand is easy to find a lovely quiet spot, as Van Morrison wrote to “smell the sea and feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly.”

Or as Tina Turner sang….Simply the Best!
